How to Sign Up for a New DocuPet Account

Thank you for choosing to sign-up for DocuPet and license your pet! Please choose the option that applies to you in order to sign-up accordingly: 

I have never licensed a pet in my community 

1. Navigate to Docupet.com and select the country you reside in.

2. Next, select the State/Province.

3. Select the community you reside in.

4. You will be directed to your community’s  website. Select "Sign-Up" near the top right of the screen.

5. Select "I have never licensed a pet with [Community] before"

6. Next, we'd like to gather some information from you to set up your profile.

7. Once you’ve provided the information needed and agreed to the Terms of Services and Privacy Policy, click "Continue".

Congratulations! Your DocuPet account is ready to go! Now, we'll ask for details about your pets and yourself to ensure we have everything we need.

I Have previously Licensed a pet in my Community

Welcome! If you're new to Docupet and have previously licensed a pet in your community, here's how to get started:

8. Navigate to Docupet.com and select the country you reside in.

9. Next, select the State/Province.

10. Select the community you reside in.

11. You will be directed to your organization's website. Select "Sign-Up" near the top right of the screen.

12. Select "I have licensed with [Community] before"

13. Next, we want to check whether you have a DocuPet account already. 

• "Yes, Log in" This will direct you to Log In to your existing account
• "No, look up my previous record." 

14. By clicking on “No, look up my previous record.”, you will then be prompted to enter the 8 to 9 digit access code sent to you via email, letter, or phone communications from DocuPet. You will also need to enter your Zip/Postal code.

• If you haven't received the access code, use the "Don't have an access code" link located under the “Enter my 8 or 9 digit access code” section. 

15. Once your record is located, provide a valid email address, create a secure password, and agree to the terms and conditions.

16. Click "Complete Sign-Up."

Congrats! You're all set with your DocuPet account! Hit  'License Now' to get your pet's license or 'Skip for now, I'll do this Later!' to view your home page
