If you’re having trouble completing the licensing process online, please review this helpful overview of required fields to make sure you have entered the necessary information as needed. Step 2 of the online process is designed to collect and confirm required pet information. Information requirements differ based on the community and their mandatory licensing requirements. If you are missing the required information, the button to proceed at the bottom of the page will be greyed out.
In some cases, you may also be required to provide your pet’s rabies vaccination expiration date.
If any required field is missing, red text will appear on the screen.
In a select few communities, you may be able to indicate that your pet’s rabies vaccination expiration date is not known at this time and proceed with purchasing a temporary license without the required rabies documentation.
In some communities, you will be required to upload proof of documentation for spay/neuter and/or rabies vaccinations. Red text will appear on the screen after saving any details if this is the case. An Upload Proof button will also appear. Click on the button to proceed with uploading a document.
You may upload most any file type via the Upload Proof function. When you have successfully selected and uploaded a document, a snapshot of the document will appear on the screen and you may click the Continue button.
The Pet Information Page will then show that these documents are waiting to be approved. You should continue through the steps at this time as the documents will be reviewed by your community’s pet licensing organization in the next couple of business days.
When all required fields on the Pet details page have been provided, the button at the bottom of the screen “Continue” will be blue and you can click to proceed to the next step.
