Bluetooth Functionality
Why Bluetooth Matters
Bluetooth is the short-range connection between your tracker and your phone. When it’s on:
- Saves Battery – Uses less power than sending updates over LTE-M.
- Faster Location Updates – Location and activity data reach your app almost instantly when you’re close to your pet.
- Smooth Syncing – Keeps your tracker and app in sync without delays.
If Bluetooth is off, your tracker will rely on LTE-M instead, which can drain battery faster and update less frequently when you’re nearby.
Keeping Your Tracker Connected
For your Invoxia Biotracker GPS to work its best, your phone needs to stay connected via Bluetooth. This ensures your app updates with your pet’s latest location and activity, so you always know where they are.
Troubleshooting Bluetooth Issues
If your Bluetooth connection isn’t working, try these steps:
- Restart Bluetooth on Your Phone
- Turn it off and back on from your Settings (not just the shortcut menu).
- Restart Your Phone
- Power it off for at least one minute, then turn it back on.
- Restart Your Tracker
- Press and hold the button on the tracker for 10 seconds until you hear a beep/ring.
For Android Users:
- Go to Settings > Connections > Bluetooth.
- Toggle Bluetooth off and on.
For Apple Users:
- Go to Settings > Bluetooth.
- Make sure the toggle is green (on).
