What is my Account Verification Code (AVC)?
The Account Verification Code is a system-generated code that is used to verify your identity when calling DocuPet.

How does the Account Verification Code work?
When you call in to DocuPet, you’ll be prompted to enter your Account Verification Code through your phone’s dialpad. Once verified, you’ll be presented with a list of options to continue with your call.
Why wasn’t my code verified?
For a successful verification, please ensure the following:
- You entered your AVC correctly, and
- You are calling from the phone number listed on your account
What is the difference between the Account Verification Code and the Online Access Code?
The Account Verification Code is used to confirm your identity when you call in to DocuPet. The AVC is entered through your phone’s dialpad and contains all numerical values (e.g. 1234567).
The Online Access Code is used to locate and claim your account. It contains alphanumerical values (e.g. A1B2C3D4) and cannot be entered through your phone’s dialpad.
Where do I find my Account Verification Code?
You can find your code through:
- Your online account (on the “My Dashboard” through “Account” > “My Details”)
- Order confirmation emails and receipts
- All transactional emails
- All mailed letters
